Hillwoods Academy, Greater Noida organised Heritage Week from 15 April to 19 April 2024. The week aimed to promote the conservation of culture and heritage across the globe.
A list of activities and competitions were held during a week-long festival which aimed to spread awareness about the traditions and cultures of different parts of the India.
The week commenced with the introduction and explanation of cultural heritage in a broad sense through well devised audio – visual and hand on activities for all the Classes from I -XII.
Special Assembly was organised on the World Heritage Day on 18 April and urge to foster a sense of pride in cultural diversity which encompasses Built Heritage, Natural Heritage, Art & Culture and Performing Art, defining us while emphasising our collective responsibilities.
Inter House Heritage Quiz based on Art and Heritage Sites was conducted for Class IX to XII in which Ujjain House stood as a winner and Raj Singh from Nalanda House bagged 1st position, Tanvi Sharma from Sanchi House got 2nd position and House secured 3rd prize in Drawing & Painting Competition held for the Class VI to VIII.
